L'album vide l'ingresso in formazione di Deen Castronovo al posto di Randy Castillo, di Geezer Butler al posto di Mike Inez, nonchè la presenza di Rick Wakeman (Yes) alle tastiere. 'Ozzmosis' ha venduto oltre 3 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.
